This beautifully rendered miniature on ivory was handpainted circa 1900 by an unidentified artist. A Fall River native and life-long resident, Marion was the daughter of well-known Fall River attorney Andrew Jackson Jennings, and his wife, née Marion G. Saunders. |

Published in 1893, this original edition of the book remains one of the most rare on the Borden case, coveted by collectors. This example is one of two that were recently donated to the Society. |
