The
Fall River Historical Society owns and operates a museum shop,
located in the former kitchen and service areas of the mansion.
Here can be found a wide range of gift items, from reproductions
of nineteenth-century porcelain to a complete line of collectible
Demdaco Willow Tree figurines. Imported embroidered shawls
in wool and silk are available, along with jewelry and a large
selection of beaded handbags and purses reminiscent of the
Roaring Twenties. Our "Book Nook" contains a number
of books and videos of local interest, as well as the largest
selection of titles available on the Borden case to be had
anywhere in the area. Mouth-blown Christmas ornaments, many
of which are Victorian reproductions, are available year-round
in a large selection of designs. Our kitchen stove is always
laden with delectable holiday treats, from Peppermint Pigs
to delicate handmade sugarplums, museum shop favorites which
sell out every year. These are just a few of the many items
available.
Select items may be purchased on-line. If you happen to be
in Fall River, be sure to stop by the Historical Society museum
shop for a local souvenir or a gift that is sure to please.
And remember, your purchases benefit the Historical Society
and assist us in our mission of preserving Fall River's past
today, for tomorrow.
